The International Catholic Migration Commission (ICMC) is funded by NGOs, governmental organizations, the European Union and the UN. Its main aim is to help persons forced to change their place of residence as a result of war, violence or natural disasters, and to integrate them into the communities that receive them. Over 65 nations are involved in this effort, and ICMC has offices in over 20 countries. ICMC is active in education for tolerance, and provides assistance in finding family members separated by resettlement or natural disasters.
The website contains a large amount of educational materials, reports, articles and publications, a list of organizations cooperating with ICMC, and links to related organizations. |
