The Zentrum für Antisemitismusforschung (ZFA) an institute affiliated with the Technische Universität in Berlin, has focused on studies of prejudice for the past 20 years. The area of interest involves the history of conflict between Jews and other ethnic groups, and the Holocaust. This starting point leads to broader analyses, however. Some ZFA projects concern Central and Eastern Europe, for example a series of conferences devoted to prejudice in particular countries of the region. ZFA organizes many conferences and exhibitions aimed at influencing public attitudes and promoting civic awareness.
