The British Columbia Arbitration and Mediation Institute (BCAMI) is an affiliate of the ADR Institute of Canada. It is an association of about 400 practitioners in British Columbia who use ADR (alternative dispute resolution) procedures. BCAMI offers out-of-court settlement services: after assessing the factual basis of a dispute, it advises the disputing parties in arbitration or mediation and refers clients to arbitrators or mediators. BCAMI also organizes training and conferences about ADR procedures.
